The St. Louis Chargers Track Club is a non-profit youth organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our organization is made up of passionate volunteer coaches, many are parents of current athletes, and former collegiate track & field athletes. We are dedicated to developing and mentoring young athletes in the St. Louis area, and helping them to reach their full potential while fostering a love for track and field.

Founded in 2022, St. Louis Chargers Track Club is a youth track and field organization for athletes ages 6 (must turn 7 by December 31st) to 18 that live in St. Louis City and the surrounding area. Our organization operates solely on a volunteer basis. Our coaches and parents are shareholders of the team and we work together to support our athletes in their quest for excellence on and off the track. We focus on developing our athletes through conditioning, training and providing a positive athletic environment. We look not only to enhance the physical fitness of our athletes, but we want to instill values that build strong character and help our athletes realize their full potential as successful members and leaders of our community.

Our goal as an organization is to:

  • Challenge our athletes through track and field, and to strive for excellence in everything they do on and off the track;

  • Teach and instill fundamental track and field principles to equip our athletes with the skills to compete at a high level; and

  • Develop their minds and bodies for future leadership on and off the track and a spirit of competitiveness that will foster a desire to always strive for excellence.

We are a non-profit organization with an operating budget generated by fees, fundraisers, and donations.  Any and all support given is through donations and created by fundraising. We are fully sanctioned by the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) and the United States Track and Field Association (USATF), the governing body for all

track and field in the United States.

We have two seasons, indoor track and field in the winter (October-March), and outdoor track and field

in the spring - summer (March-August).
